Understanding Behaviors Will Help Facilitate Change

Helping your department to adopt greener IT practices can be a challenging task.  Use the Green IT Individual Survey to inform faculty/staff of some green IT best practices and collect useful feedback. The individual survey contains questions about computer use habits, technology used in the work environment, awareness of green IT efforts in your department, and attitudes toward adopting energy saving practices.

Administering the Individual Survey to Your Unit

• Send an e-mail to request a code identifying your department.
• Instruct your faculty and staff to take the individual survey online.  
  • To allow easy identification of your users, give them the code that identifies your department.
  • Set a deadline to ensure that your department's responses will be as complete as possible.
• To receive a summary of individual responses from of your unit, send a request.
